As we move into 2023, it is exciting to see the new kitchen remodeling trends that are going to replace the current “norms” of 2022 kitchens.
1. Out with all white kitchens, and in with painted islands and mixed metals! It is time to bring color back into the kitchen with bold colors and warm accents such as gold, copper and bronze.
2. Open concepts will soon be a thing of the past. Homeowners are starting to prefer a traditional style with walls which allow for individual unique spaces.
3. Upper kitchen cabinets will be replaced with lower kitchen drawers. Lower kitchen drawers allow for better organization, and ease of storage for your kitchen equipment.
4. Recessed lighting has been the norm in kitchen remodels. In 2023, we start to see less recessed lighting, and more statement lighting. Statement lighting adds an extra design element to the space which can bring it all together.
5. Tile backsplash is being left behind in 2022. The new year brings new and improved options for a backsplash which adds character and color to the kitchen. Expect to see marble slab backsplashes and wallpaper (YES!) coming to kitchens in 2023.
